Patriots and Celtics players react to the tragic death of Chadwick Boseman

Chadwick Boseman was a beloved actor, especially in the professional sports community.

Boseman, who played King T’Challa in “Black Panther,” died Friday at the age of 43 after a four-year battle with colon cancer.

Boseman’s sudden death came as a shock to many who didn’t know he was dealing with colon cancer. His passing sparked a wave of tribute and reactions on social media, particularly from Boston athletes trying to process the news.

Many New England Patriots players also took the news strongly, including cornerback Stephon Gilmore, running back James White, and defenders Devin and Jason McCourty.

Boseman was best known for the “Black Panther” star, but played Jackie Robinson in “42” and Thurgood Marshall in “Marshall”, while more recently appeared in “21 Bridges” and “From 5 Bloods”.
