Zlatan Ibrahimovic swapped Los Angeles Galaxy for AC Milan in December. With 11 goals in 20 duels and his winning mentality, the 38-year-old Swede played a large part in Milan’s impressive final sprint last season.
“Everyone has seen that Ibrahimovic has played an important role in the progress we have made,” said Managing Director Ivan Gazidis. “Therefore, we will make every effort to continue his stay here.”
Paolo Maldini also agreed. “We are working hard on an agreement. We know that it will be short day for the preparation, so we want to finalize the file as soon as possible. Ibrahimovic is our priority, but of course we also have a plan B, C and D,” explains the sporty director.
