Brewster asked

Rhian Brewster has made it clear that he’d rather fight for game time at Anfield than get loaned out, but that hasn’t stopped many Premier League teams from investigating.

The striker, who ended on loan in Swansea City last season, spoke to the Beautiful Game podcast about his desire to prove himself at his parents’ club.

However, according to Mirror, Brewster is being sought by six top fight clubs, with Aston Villa announcing their intentions alongside Brighton & Hove Albion, Crystal Palace, Fulham and Newcastle United.

Burnley is also interested in a loan move for Brewster, who has also interested a number of championship teams.

The 20-year-old, who made his Liverpool debut last season, scored 11 goals in 22 games in Swansea to help Steve Cooper’s side advance to the championship play-offs.

He has yet to open his Reds account in regular play but took his penalty in the penalty shoot-out against Arsenal in last season’s EFL Cup.
