“F *** that man! We demand change. I’m sick of it, ”LeBron James tweeted.

After the three scheduled Thursday games were canceled due to the Milwaukee Bucks decision not to step on the field, a meeting was held between the NBA and the players to decide next steps.

A vote on what to do next resulted in the Los Angeles Lakers and Clippers voting to close for the remainder of the season.

“Miami’s Udonis Haslem spoke and basically told everyone in the room that – without the Lakers and Clippers, how will the season go? LeBron James went out. The rest of the Lakers and Clippers stepped out from behind him, ”tweeted Sham Charania of The Athletic.

All other teams remaining in the playoffs voted to continue playing.

After the Bucks decided to boycott their playoff game, the Major League Baseball game between the Milwaukee Brewers and Cincinnati Reds was canceled with two more MLB games. In addition to the NBA, the WNBA and MLS have also postponed the scheduled Thursday games.

Tennis superstar Naomi Osaka announced that she will withdraw from her semifinals at the Cincinnati Masters if she joins protests across the sports world.

“Before I was an athlete, I was a black woman. And as a black woman, I feel like there are far more important things that require immediate attention than watching me play tennis, ”said Osaka tweeted.

The NBA announced in a statement that the three games would be postponed.

Blake was shot in the back seven times at close range by police officers after breaking up a fight between two women.

Miraculously, Blake survived, but was later confirmed to be paralyzed from the waist down. The shooting rocked America and sparked widespread protests following the deaths of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor.

The Boston Celtics security guard Marcus Smart was strong in his demeanor when the time came for serious action.

“We tried to do it in a peaceful way, we kneeled, we tried to protest, we tried to get out of here and get together and play this game and we tried to get our voice across, but it didn’t work. So obviously something needs to be done, ”he said.

NBA players, teams and Legends of the Game have thrown their support behind the goats’ step for not speaking in protest of the recent shots.

“For those who don’t understand what’s going on, it will always be bigger than basketball! We demand change! We demand justice! I wish you a blessed day, ”wrote Eric Paschall, the guardian of the warriors.

“We want justice,” tweeted Jamal Murray from Denver.

“We demand change! Salute @Bucks, ”tweeted Donovan Mitchell from Utah.

“I am moved by all @NBA players because they stand up for what is right. I’d like to thank my husband @TheJetOnTNT for what you have done to show your support for the players. I’m so proud of you. Always in trouble, ”wrote eleven-time NBA champion Bill Russell.

“@Bucks power. Black force. Nothing but respect for Milwaukee’s players and coaches, ”wrote Scottie Pippen.
