Nakagami gets more pressure from Honda after Marc Marquez injury

BOLASPORT.COM – The LCR Honda racer, Takaaki Nakagami, revealed that he was under more pressure after Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda) was injured.

This pressure Takaaki Nakagami felt after showing positive results in the fifth series MotoGP Styria 2020 which took place on Sunday (23/8/2020).

Takaaki Nakagami finished 7th, 1.864 seconds adrift of the first fastest racer, Miguel Oliveira (Red Bull KTM).

In addition, Takaaki Nakagami was also able to perform impressively in the qualifying session and made him start at the second front of the grid.

Nakagami’s hard work then won the prize of more pressure from Honda.

As a satellite team racer, Nakagami feels he is being used as a mainstay racer to replace the defending MotoGP champion, Marc Marquez.

The reason is, the factory team is having difficulty reaching the best position in MotoGP 2020.

Of the five MotoGP series that have been running, two of the riders, Alex Marquez and Stefan Bradl, have not yet managed to set foot on the podium.
