Murray and Mitchell are “on fire” again; The Nuggets and Jazz duel will feature the seventh game, Basketball

The Nuggets beat the Jazz by 119: 107 on Sunday, reaching a tie in the 3-3 series to four wins for one team.

In Denver’s favor, Murray scored 50 points (2p. 8/12, 3p. 9/12, free throws 7/9), made 6 assists and won 5 rebounds.

Murray has become the second player in history to score at least 40 points in three consecutive play-off matches, to win at least 5 rebounds and to return at least 5 assists. In 1990, the legendary Michael Jordan did it.

Nikola Jokičs also played successfully in the Nuggets, scoring 22 points and making 9 assists.

In the “Jazz” Michel stood out with 44 points (2p. 5/12, 3p. 9/13, free throws 7/7), gave 5 passes, won 6 balls to the baskets and “stole” 3 balls.

Meanwhile, Mike Conley scored another 21 points for the Utah Club.

Murray and Mitchell each have two games in this series in which they have managed to score at least 50 points. Such performance against two opponents in one series in the NBA had not yet been experienced.

With an average of 37.6 points per game, Mitchell is currently the most productive player in the NBA playoffs this season.

Second with 32.8 points is Kavai Lenard (Los Angeles Clippers), third with 31.8 points is James Harden (Houston Rockets) and fourth is Murray with 30.8 points.

The duel of “Nuggets” and “Jazz” in the decisive seventh game of the series is scheduled for a night on Wednesday (3.30 pm Latvian time).

The winner of this pair in the second round of the Western Conference will compete with the “Clippers”, which in the first stage of the series with 4-2 beat the Dallas “Mavericks” represented by Kristaps Porziņģis.
