Marina Granovskaia’s £ 130 million transfer decision seems to have already been confirmed

Eden Hazard has been accused of not taking his transfer from Chelsea to Real Madrid seriously.

Hazard looked like a shadow of himself as Los Blancos were knocked out of the Champions League by Manchester City last week.

It compounded a disappointing debut season at the Bernabeu for the Belgian star following his transfer from Chelsea last summer in a deal worth £ 130m.

Tony Cascarino said Hazard’s performance has been punished due to a disappointing attitude since he moved to Real Madrid.

“When you talk about a player of his quality, he is not at all questioned,” Cascarino told talkSPORT.

“We know how brilliant Hazard can be, we know what difference he can make to a football team.

“But seriously he didn’t take the move to Real Madrid seriously.

“He became overweight, got paid enormously trying to catch up all season, ended up getting injured.

“Not just the ankle injury, but another problem here and there.

“Watching him last night was like watching a completely different player.

“He’s a brilliant player, but Hazard paid the highest price for showing up on a football team of the stature of Real Madrid, not taking him so seriously, for a large sum, a lot of money.

“They identified him, Zidane was Hazard’s hero, so he always wanted to play for Real Madrid but also Zidane.

“He turns off Hazard from time to time. As good and good as he may be, all of a sudden he’ll just have the tools down.

“That’s what he did last summer and this is the consequence of his season.

“Kyle Walker must have thought, ‘Is this the same player I faced at Chelsea?'”
