Kovar joins Swindon on loan

Swindon Town have signed Under 23 goalkeeper Matej Kovar on loan for the season.

The deal – which is subject to FA and EFL approval – will see the Czech Republic youth national team join the League One squad for the entire 2019-20 campaign.

Kovar was included in the Europa League squad of the day for the group stage match against Partizan Belgrade last season.

It is the third departure on loan from Old Trafford this summer after Tahith Chong joined Werder Bremen and Aliou Traore moved to SM Caen.

No United Interview for Dembele – Report

United have not opened talks with Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele as they remain confident of a deal for Jadon Sancho.

This is according to the Transfer window podcast , who says United are interested in a loan deal for Dembele but remain confident of achieving his main Sancho goal.

Sancho’s excessive cost – with a transfer fee in the region of £ 108 million – could be the biggest deterrent to any deal.

Dembele’s progress over three years at the Camp Nou has been marked by several injuries and the men don’t understand he’s a real target.
