MALANG, KOMPAS.com – The Mayor of Malang, Sutiaji, gave a signal for Arema FC to fully manage the Gajayana Stadium, Malang.
The number one person in Malang said that the discourse was in the process of being reviewed in his ranks.
The issue of managing the stadium which is located in the heart of Malang City has been blowing for a long time.
In 2018, Arema FC specifically volunteered to manage the stadium.
However, this news just evaporated without continuation.

Now, the issue has re-emerged after the Head of Malang City DPRD, I Made Riandiana Kartika, explicitly proposed Arema FC to manage the Gajayana Stadium.
Sutiaji also confirmed the existence of this discourse, even though for now he said he was still in the review process.
Sutiaji stated that the Gajayana Stadium is a public facility.
So, special regulations are needed so as not to cause new problems when the management is handed over to Arema FC.
“It has been a long time since the management of Arema FC submitted it, but we will regulate it,” said the man with glasses.
“This is a public facility. When the third party, for example Arema Legends, want to play? Then, maybe Persema is also playing. Maybe later we will arrange the mechanism, “he added.

The 56-year-old man also expressed his readiness to support Arema FC to manage the Gajayana Stadium.
In fact, he said he was ready to make this a commitment.
“I’ve always wanted all of this to be overhauled. Then, later it will become (development) the seeds of footballers, so that it becomes an academy like that. “
“This is what we hope to appear (players) from Malang City in several clubs in Indonesia,” he concluded.
Gajayana Stadium itself has a very long historical value for Arema and football in Malang Raya.
The stadium witnessed the history of Arema in winning the Galatama champion in 1993.
