Decisive battles for the Latvian Open 2020 Cups today
Today in Valmiera, Vidzeme Olympic Center, and Kocēni Sports House, the pre-season test floorball floor “Latvian Open 2020” will end with playoffs.
The first playoffs in the men’s Elite group took place last night. Both home teams entered the semi-finals, which will now compete with each other – FBK “Valmiera” and Kocēni “Rubene”. In the second semi-final pair, the club “Lielvārde / Fat Pipe” and the red team of Latvian junior national team candidates crossed.
The semi-final pairs have already been determined in the men’s Open group. In one of them, Ogre FC “Metēji” and FK “Tērvete” will compete for a place in the final, but in the other – FC “Kalsnava” and “Kuldīga / KNSS”. In the women’s team group, the last games of the group were played this morning. In them, Cēsis “Lekrings” met with “Ķekavas Bulldogs / NND”, but FK “Ķekava” with Riga FK “NND / RJTC”. It is already clear that both Kocēni teams (“Rubene” and “Rubene-1”), as well as “Ķekavas Bulldogs / NND” and FK “Ķekava” will continue in the semifinals.
