“I started quite with nothing”: Stefanos Tsitsipas reveals childhood problems due to the recession

Stefanos Tsitsipas was one of the next young talents on the ATP tour. He is from Greece and had a lot of problems before turning pro. Difficult situations shaped and matured Greek before its age.

After his victory in the quarter-finals of the Western & Southern Open, Tsitsipas was questioned about his childhood. Tsitsipas recounted how the recession in the Greek economy upset him.
