While the first two weeks of training have reached the point where several of the practices from the past week lasted two hours or more, none of the upcoming practices should last longer than 90 minutes. This could be an indication that practices will start to have more of a regular season flavor without as much physicality as the Giants have shown over the past two weeks.

The Giants’ 53-man roster may have started to take shape on Saturday when the Giants surprisingly slashed running back Javon Leake as one of two moves to make room for cornerbacks Brandon Williams and KeiVarae Russell. This is likely an indication that Wayne Gallman is safe and that newly signed Tavien Feaster could be headed to the practice squad.

The Giants have some interesting decisions to make across the roster. This will make Thursday’s scrum at MetLife Stadium critical for many bubble players. The cuts in the roster should also be interesting due to the likely unpredictability of having a first-year head coach.

Either way, Giants fans, your final week of training camp begins on Sunday.
