His trial heard Maguire rage today: “Do you know who I am? I’m the captain of Manchester United, I’m very rich, I can give you money, I can pay you, please let’s go. “

But brother Laurence, who plays as defender for Chesterfield FC, has dismissed the court’s claims on Twitter.

He tweeted a link to a story about Maguire’s alleged quotes and said, “This is insane … anyone who knows Harry now knows this whole story is made up.”

Sky Sports expert and ex-soccer player Jamie Carragher also hit the claims and tweeted, “Absolute shit! Every story / rumor someone tells about a footballer always starts with “Do you know who I am?”

“I’ve never heard a player say that before !!”

The claims were brought today in a Syros court where Maguire, Brother Joe and buddy Chris Sharman are currently on trial for a drunken brawl.

The trial heard Maguire’s younger sister Daisy being injected in the arm by Albanian men, causing her to faint.

Maguire and his group asked to be rushed to hospital after the incident but were instead driven to a police station – when the Albanian men fled.

Upon arriving at the police station, officers allegedly kicked Maguire on the leg and told him, “Your career is over”.

Father Alan traveled to the court on the Greek island of Syros today to support his sons.

But none of the defendants – including Maguire – are on trial today and are instead represented by their legal team.

Utd captain Maguire, 27, footballer brother Joe, 28, and buddy Chris Sharman are charged with assault and violence against an officer.

The brothers continue to be charged with attempted bribery, while Maguire and Chris are charged with verbal assault.

You deny the charges.

The bribery charge has a maximum sentence of up to five years in prison and a fine.

However, the group can appeal the decision in a higher court if found guilty today.
