Demo demanding Lionel Messi survives that take place in the club management office Barcelona was colored by chaos, Wednesday (26/8). Supporters demanded Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu to resign.

A number of stadium security officers were unable to stop the supporters’ action. Police were then deployed to push dozens of supporters out of the Barcelona management office and return to demonstrations on the streets.
In the demonstration, supporters urged Bartomeu to resign after failing to lead Barcelona this season. Barcelona failed to win the title this season and slumped, with Bayern Munich being humiliated 2-8 in the Champions League quarter-finals.

No club representatives met supporters. The club management chose to hold a meeting at the Camp Nou during the demonstration to find solutions for Messi’s future.
Barcelona Sports Director Ramon Planes ensures that the club is trying all its way to keep Messi.
“We are not considering Messi’s departure, because we want him to stay. We plan to build a future with the best players in the world,” said Planes, who replaced Eric Abidal.
“We are trying to convince Messi to stay. Messi and Barcelona are one and have achieved a lot of success, for that we want to move together. We cannot make this a problem between Barcelona and Messi,” continued Planes. Brand.
