Coronavirus: first positive case in Clermont – Rugby – Top 14

AS Clermont Auvergne must in turn deal with the announcement of a first positive case in the RT-PCR test of Covid-19. The person concerned was immediately placed in solitary confinement for fourteen days. Having had no contact with the players, he therefore does not present any risk of contamination with regard to them, this is in any case what the club has just clarified through a press release:

“A member of the Clermont group, who was not at the training center in recent weeks, nor for the match at Tulle, has tested positive. This one, asymptomatic, has crossed, in recent days, part of the staff during a meeting. As a precautionary measure and in accordance with the medical protocol of the LNR and the Regional Health Agency, all staff members who participated in this meeting are placed in isolation in order to preserve the entire group. All will retake an RT-PCR test. Insofar as it would be negative, they could find the whole group from Thursday. “
