Club: Navas still not in collective training

The day after PSG’s qualification for the Champions League final on Sunday, Keylor Navas, affected a week ago against Bergamo, has still not trained and has remained in care. Doubt persists regarding his presence for the final.

Victim of a muscle injury to his right thigh during the second period of the Champions League quarter-final against Atalanta Bergamo (2-1) last Wednesday, Keylor Navas will logically have been too short to participate in the half. final against RB Leipzig (3-0). Seeing the PSG goalkeeper make his return to the net for the final taking place on Sunday at 9 p.m., however, is not excluded for the moment. The player and the medical staff work there.

Even if, as confirmed by RMC Sport and Le Parisien in the early evening, the Costa Rican goalkeeper did not participate in the day’s session with the players not or little used during the meeting against Leipzig, his return to the training is approaching. The experienced Navas should indeed take part in the session this Thursday after having remained in the hotel des Parisiens to benefit from care this Wednesday, like the holders of the day before. The race against time is therefore well underway and more relevant than ever.

The good news of the day concerns Marco Verratti, who came into play ten minutes against Leipzig after missing the game against Bergamo with a calf injury. The latter participated in the entire session, just like Idrissa Gueye, remained on the bench last night because embarrassed by a muscle alert on Sunday. Note that Angel Di Maria, elected man of the match against the Germans was also present unlike the other holders yesterday, having worked indoors in the club’s base camp.
