The 2020 NBA Draft is scheduled for October. Now that the lottery order is set, we know which teams will hold the top 14 picks.
Recently, CBS Sports analyst Gary Parrish updated his first round simulation draft and included 5 stars from the SEC.
As you can see below, Georgia star Anthony Edwards drops to number 3 overall, going to the Charlotte Hornets:
- No. 3 – Anthony Edwards, G, Georgia – Charlotte Hornets
- No. 7 – Isaac Okoro, F, Auburn – Detroit Pistons
- No. 14 – Aaron Nesmith, F, Vanderbilt – Boston Celtics
- # 16 – Tyrese Maxey, G, Kentucky – Portland Trail Blazers
- No. 20 – Kira Lewis Jr., G, Alabama – Miami Heat
These projections may change, but for now it’s a good look at which SEC athletes are included in the first round buzz.
