New season, new goals and renewed hopes at Bàsquet Girona. This year, the first team of the Girona team debuts category. They will play LEB Gold, or what is the same, in the second category of state basketball. The arrival of Girona in this new category, like everything that is happening lately, was atypical as it was not achieved on the track. Players received the news of the ascent confined. This did not stop the joy of the players and all the members of the entity.
For the new course, which will be very demanding, the club has had to make several changes in the field of sports. The Girona sports management has considered making a change to the bench by signing Carles Marco to the detriment of Àlex Formento. But not only that, but the dance between the players has been considerable: of the 12 players who achieved promotion only Albert Sàbat, Gerard Sevillano and Robert Cosialls continue. Therefore the challenge will be major and the preparation must be appropriate.
