Bills ban own journalist for violating team media policy – The Athletic

The Buffalo Bills banned Chris Brown, their radio host and web reporter, from covering workouts for the rest of training camp and suspended him from all of their platforms, multiple sources told The Athletic.

The Bills don’t talk about Brown’s whereabouts, but he disappeared from the practices last week after apparently violating the team’s media policy. Three days later, the long-time club employee disappeared from “One Bills Live” – which aired simultaneously on WGR 550 and MSG Network – and on social media without announcing where he had been or when he would return.

Brown’s full evaporation happened on Thursday, less than two hours after Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy’s tweet was announced about buying the stadium sponsorship rights from the Bills.

An indication that Brown has been suspended and not fired, he is still listed in the team directory.
