TWO STOPS: 1 stint up Soft (14 giri) + 1 stint su Medium (16 giri) + 1 stint su Soft (14 turns)

Mario Isola: “There were only a few drops of rain during the sessions on Saturday and with a range a step softer than the one brought to Spa last year. Lewis Hamilton broke Spa’s lap record four times in qualifying, including once on the medium tire. The fact that the top seven on the grid are all faster than last year’s pole underlines the impressive evolution of the cars over the past 12 months. We have already seen some divergences in strategies, with the first three cars on the grid starting the race tomorrow on the Medium tire. This will make a first stint particularly interesting: those on the average should be able to go longer, but the riders on the Soft will have a speed advantage that could be significant in the early stages ”.
