Barcelona coach Quique Setien is not afraid of losing his job if his team were to be eliminated by Napoli in the Champions League.

In the end it was Setien who got the job, but despite taking over when Barcelona were in the lead he failed to win La Liga or Copa Del Rey and if he doesn’t deliver the Champions League he will be replaced.

But the former Real Betis coach is not worried about his future.

“The reality is that it never crossed my mind that this is my last game,” he told reporters.

‘We have thoroughly prepared the game. We will face everything in Portugal with the same energy. ‘

‘We have improved a lot of things. We lacked continuity in doing those things we know how to do well.

‘This is a process that is always present. You don’t always face the same rivals, everything varies. We can see in some circumstances that sometimes things are not done well.

‘The identity has not been lost. We have all heard about Barca’s DNA and the club’s philosophy, another thing is the nuances of each coach.

‘Since we arrived we have tried to recover certain things that we understand that Barca represent. We have achieved many things. We are happy with some aspects of the game, others are hurting us. We keep trying to improve every day. ‘

The Catalan giants face the Italian team at the Camp Nou with an aggregate score at 1-1 in the round of 16 of the Champions League.
