Pedro Rodriguez was forced to leave Chelsea at the end of last season after his contract was not renewed.

The age factor is rumored to be the reason Chelsea and their coach, Frank Lampard, did not give Pedro a new contract.

Last season, Pedro was mostly on the bench and was only given the opportunity to appear 23 times in all competitions by Frank Lampard.

During five seasons defending Chelsea, Pedro won three championship trophies namely the English League, FA Cup and Europa League.

Overall, Pedro has so far won 25 prestigious trophies at club level including three Champions League titles.
