Arsenal presents Willian News’s three-year contract offer on football

Arsenal made a formal three-year contract offer to Willian, pushing them to the top of the game to sign the Brazilian striker.

Joining the rejuvenated side of Mikel Arteta and the possibility of working with the Brazilian colleague Edu are the reasons why Arsenal is the favorite to secure Willian’s signature. The Gunners made a formal three-year contract offer to Willian, still somewhat lower than the terms offered by Barcelona and Inter Miami.

Despite wanting the 31-year-old to extend his stay at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea has declined to offer more than two more years – and the chances of him becoming a Chelsea player when the new season starts in five weeks now seem far away.

Frank Lampard admitted that his team must improve defensively, but that Chelsea would have to sell before they could buy, having already spent a lot in the attacking areas bringing Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech.

Willian has made 47 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions and ended the season in top form with four Premier League goals after restarting.

Analysis: “Willian wants one last big problem”

Kaveh Solhekol of Sky Sports News:

“Willian wants a big final contract – ideally a three-year contract to bring it to 35. Chelsea would like to keep it, even if they won’t offer him three years.

“At the moment it appears that Arsenal is his most likely destination, but he is a free agent and at his age, realistically, you are likely to go where there is more money and the longer contract offered.

“He has an excellent injury record, so his agent will say,” Don’t worry about his fitness. “

Chelsea open to bids for the first team’s third team

Chelsea are willing to listen to offers for up to 10 first team players, including goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, Jorginho and central defender trio Antonio Rudiger, Kurt Zouma and Andreas Christiansen.

Frank Lampard admitted that his team must improve defensively, but that Chelsea would have to sell before they could buy, having already spent a lot in the attacking areas bringing Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech.

Emerson, Jorginho, Victor Moses, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Danny Drinkwater and Michy Batshuayi are part of a long list of players that Chelsea would be willing to download.
