What are the biggest disappointments of the Minnesota Vikings training camp?

It may be the lack of fans or lack of access, but this year’s training camp for the Minnesota Vikings went off without incident.

With Michael Pierce’s decision to retire from the season just before camp started, it looked like we were heading into another crazy, crazy year of Vikings football. However, this was not really the case.

Minnesota still has a few position groups to work out, but most of the lead roles on their roster are supported. And despite the current optimism surrounding the Vikings, there were still plenty of reasons to be disappointed with what happened during the team’s training camp this year.

From players falling short of expectations, to guys running out of time due to an injury, to others just not taking advantage of opportunities, there are a number of things that need to be let down by the current state of Minnesota. What are some of the biggest disappointments of the Vikings camp in recent weeks?
