Wesley Sneijder tells in De Volkskrant that he cannot remember much of that night. “In that incident where I danced on a car a year ago, I didn’t know what I had done the next day. It happened in a moment of bewilderment.” He thought he didn’t drink that much, but it still went wrong. “It could be wrong.”
The former football player was taken by the police. “The best thing was that I woke up in the police station in the morning. There was an officer in my cell. I asked: what have I done? Vandalism. I was happy. He asks: why are you happy? I say: for the same money I shot someone. “
