VVV fans face a dilemma and have to choose between Ajax and Feyenoord

The season ticket holders of VVV-Venlo will not be able to visit all but about half of the home games next season. The club has already sold 2,200 season tickets, but does not have a place in De Koel for everyone. VVV fans are also faced with a dilemma, because they have to choose between a home match against Ajax or against Feyenoord.

Stadium De Koel normally seats 8,000 fans, but because 1.5 meters must be kept away, that number is not reached. VVV hopes the fans ‘to be able to receive the match’.

The matches against Ajax and Feyenoord are scheduled for the first half of the season (Saturday October 24 and Sunday December 13). Every season ticket holder can go to one match and must soon indicate a preference at VVV.

Supporters who want to go to the game but are not from one household must register separately. A contact form must be completed if this is the case. In addition, a health check is done. VVV will also work with timeslots, so that not everyone enters and exits the stadium at the same time.

Placing emergency stands proved too expensive for VVV due to finances.
