French rider Fabio Quartararo (Petronas Yamaha) has won the Spanish Grand Prix this Sunday at the Jerez-Ángel Nieto Circuit, and is the first champion of this atypical World Cup 2020 reduced by coronavirus, with Maverick Viñales (Yamaha) and Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati) completing the first podium in the reigning category.
Quartararo already knows what it’s like to finally win a first race in MotoGP. ‘El Diablo’ had done ‘poles’, had led races but had never been able to climb to the top step of the podium on a Sunday.
A simply incredible start to the 2020 #MotoGP season!!! ??
