Two former Uni players return to the Endesa Women’s League

Former Uni player Nadia Colhado will reinforce the Liontek Gernika next season and will be reunited with Rosó Buch. The Basque club announced yesterday the signing of the Brazilian international (31 years and 1.93), who “will bring physicality, rebound and intimidation” to a Gernika that has already ensured the continuity of Nogaye Lo and Margaret Roundtree and the incorporation by Paula Ginzo.

Colhado played last season at Flammes Carolo, where he only played five games due to a wrist injury that already took him through surgery in Girona.

Da Silva, to the Students

He Movistar Students announced yesterday the incorporation of Sofia Gomes da Silva (30 years and 1.90), another former player of Uni Girona. The Portuguese international has played the last two seasons at the Belgian Namur Capitale. Da Silva played in the 2016/17 season for the Girona team and played 17 games in the Women’s League in which he averaged 4.2 points and 3.5 rebounds with 4 assists; and 3.8 points, 4.6 rebounds and 5 assists in 8 Eurocup Women games.

Da Silva says that “going back to Spain is coming home. The club will have 100% of me, as a player and as a person.”
