With the coronavirus crisis putting a strain on finances both across the world of football and beyond, Premier League clubs are expected to adapt their approach to the 2020/21 season.
Some are already getting to work, including Chelsea, which has already obtained the signing of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner for the new campaign.
But this is not the case for all the giants of the top flight, with new Premier League champions Liverpool abandoning their move for Werner and seem ready to study the market closely before making any moves this summer.
The Reds have been linked in a move to Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara, with Manchester United also claiming to have an interest in the former Barcelona man.
United are also watching Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish, while Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is targeting both a central defender and a center forward to improve his team chasing the Champions League.
Expect most teams to be on the lookout for new faces, with Arsenal another club ready to review their team before the new campaign.
