Tariq Hinds sent a farewell to everyone in Tottenham Hotspur after being released from the club.
The 20-year-old right back has been a versatile player for the development team in recent years, appearing on the left side and also in the role of defensive midfielder when required.
Tottenham is not blessed with the terrible full backs of Jose Mourinho’s first team, with Serge Aurier currently the only natural right back in the first team at the moment, with Kyle Walker-Peters on loan in Southampton.

However, Hinds has not been able to make the quantum leap, despite appearing in around 100 games for the club’s U23, U19 and U18 in recent years.
He was released from the club when his contract expired this week, completing four years as a full-time Academy player.
While some young players write long goodbye posts on social media to announce their departures, Hinds went in a slightly different direction, posting the simple but grateful message “@spursofficial was a pleasure” on Instagram below, along with a close hand emoji and a video highlights his move in action for the club over the years.
The young defender, who worked hard, was known for his technical prowess and for attacking raids in the mid-opposition when he was on his hips.
He will now hope to continue his path in the professional game and it is hoped that the versatility developed during his time at the Spurs will support him.
He has a senior experience of this type, having played for Tottenham four times in the EFL Trophy, a competition that saw the Spurs U21 challenge the Football League teams made up of players from the first team.
Hinds also has experience in Europe, having won 12 times in the UEFA Youth League, taking on the likes of Barcelona, Inter, Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund for the club’s U19.
