Three stars from Manchester United in the list of the fastest players in the Premier League 10

Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Mason Greenwood and Fred are officially among the 10 fastest players in the Premier League last season.

The Manchester United trio was clocked in the top 10 speeds during the 2019/20 campaign, with Manchester City’s Kyle Walker at the top of the charts.

Brazilian midfielder Fred is a slightly surprising inclusion, but finished ninth in the overall Premier League standings with a top speed of 23.17 mph.

Wan-Bissaka and Greenwood were third together with Aston Villa Trezeguet, who recorded all 23.36 mph at their peak.

Top 10 also included young Man City Phil Foden, Southampton striker Shane Long, Arsenal youth Ainsley Maitland-Niles and central defender Leagester City Caglar Soyuncu. Powerful wolf striker Adama Traore came second to Walker on the list. The top speed of the City full back was 23.49 miles per hour according to Premier League data.

A bit surprisingly, there is no place for Marcus Rashford or Daniel James, who are often considered the fastest players on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team.

But in December, Opta’s data revealed that Fred had recorded a faster pace than both, although in March James and Rashford were high on the Old Trafford list. Yet now it would appear that Wan-Bissaka and Greenwood have surpassed them all.

Solskjaer will surely be glad that so many members of his team are vying after deploying his team around a pacy counterattack earlier in the season.
