Consider the impact of the NFL Under-25 crowd over the past year. Lamar Jackson (23) has been named MVP. Patrick Mahomes (24) led the Chiefs to three return wins en route to being Super Bowl MVP, which he followed by signing the richest contract in NFL history. Myles Garrett, the Browns passing defenseman and the 2017 No. 1 draft pick, recently signed a five-year, $ 125 million extension.
Stars like Saquon Barkley and Jamal Adams have played prominent roles among players in the Black Lives Matter movement, proving young players lead the NFL off the field as well as on him.
That brings us to Athletic’s (and hopefully annual) first-team all-under-25s, a star-studded squad in almost every position.
