But this app for Android and iOS can do even better! It allows you to quickly create a contact list with last name, first name and phone number. Information also coded in QR codes. The restaurateur can scan these codes to record this information. If necessary, the data can be transmitted to the health authorities and are automatically deleted after 15 days.

Initially planned for the canton of Neuchâtel, this 100% self-funded application which does not send this information on the internet could obviously appeal to many Swiss. Asked about this scenario, Mikaël Zennaro, CEO of VNV said he was ready to complete his application with German and Italian to make it available throughout the country.

UPC lance StarzPlay

UPC indicates that it is the first telecommunications provider in Switzerland to integrate its StarzPlay offer. This streaming service is intended especially for lovers of series. He has already produced several famous series such as The Spanish Princess, Spartacus or Hightown, notes the first cable operator in a press release.

With StarzPlay, the international streaming service of the American TV channel Starz, UPC customers have access to thousands of hours of TV content and more than 250 films. The offer will be extended with exclusive series such as The Great and Normal People, which will only be available in Switzerland on StarzPlay, according to the same text.

This offer is offered in the original English language. Subtitles in German, French and Italian are available. The subscription costs 6.90 francs per month and can be canceled each month, specifies UPC.

MELANI becomes the “National Center for Cybersecurity”.

The Confederation wants to strengthen its activities in the area of ​​cyber risks. The Federal Council thus decided to create the National Center for Cybersecurity. To do this, it is based on the skills and services that already exist such as the Central Information Recording and Analysis for Information Security (MELANI). As of July 1, 2020, MELANI will thus become part of the NCSC.

This new center is intended to protect the public and businesses against cyber risks and improve the security of Confederation systems. It is notably designed to be able to function as a national counter for announcements of incidents and questions concerning cyber risks and to operate a national intervention team for computer emergencies (GovCERT) as a specialized service, according to this web page.
