Børven was after much about and ready for Rosenborg this week. He comes from Odd, where he has already shown a goal form reminiscent of last season, when he became a top scorer in the Elite Series.
On Wednesday, he is one of 18 players to join the RBK squad for the home game against Vålerenga, the club notices at rbk.no.
Børven scored hattrick against the same club as Odd player a week ago.
Per Ciljan Skjelbred, who has returned to Rosenborg from Hertha Berlin and the German Bundesliga, is not in the squad. He was on health check of a leg injury earlier this week.
Nor does the dribble Samuel Adegbenro join the squad. He walked out of the Fire Stadium with injury in the 2-1 victory Sunday.
