Ranking Jayson Tatum, Ben Simmons and NBA junior by potential superstar

Jayson Tatum and Donovan Mitchell became NBA All-Stars in year 3. But they were not alone at the top of their class.

Although the 2017 draw class is at the forefront of the discussion for maximum ceilings among players in year 3, don’t forget the first overall pick of the 2016 NBA draft, Ben Simmons. After losing the entire 2016-17 season due to an injury, Simmons made his debut with the 2017 drapery and secured the honors of the rookie of the year.

Now, Bam Adebayo has entered the discussion as perhaps the most talented player in his class. And then there’s the plethora of 2017 point guards that includes Markelle Fultz, Lonzo Ball and De’Aaron Fox.

ESPN insiders Mike Schmitz and Kevin Pelton are each ranked in the top 10 NBA juniors for long-term prospects.
