Kenny Harms brought Kevin Na into his golf clubs on Thursday morning.
He wore them during the day.
He had showered them and hidden them at night.
In a video posted on Instagram on Wednesday evening, ahead of this week’s World Golf Championships-FedEx St. Jude Championship, Harms, Na’s caddy, showed “how we during the PGA Tour clean our clubs. “
Harms takes a wet towel and cleans the head of an iron. Cleans the grooves. He polishes it.
The damage overturns the iron and also cleans the grip.
“The most important thing is to make sure your grip is good and sticky for tomorrow,” said Harms. “So for all the players out there, you may want to do it every time you play.”
Just showered. It’s time for bed.
Harms said it gives Na clubs “special treatment”.
He approaches the bed in the hotel room. There are nine irons, three fairway metals, a driver and a putter. All on a pillow. Everything covered by a blanket.
“I tuck them into bed so they sleep well like Kevin Na, and you’re ready for bed tomorrow,” said Harms.
Last year, Na received a 1973 Dodge Challenger for winning the Charles Schwab Challenge. He gave it to Harms.
Na takes care of her trolley. It hurts care for clubs.
“This is why @ kharms27gets paid the big???? (or the car) for cleaning your clubs 101. wait for the end!” Na wrote on Instagram.
