The legal disputes between Preußen Münster and the DFB have come to an end. The DFB Federal Court dismissed Münster’s appeal against the judgment of the DFB Sports Court regarding the evaluation of the game against SV Meppen (0: 3) as unfounded. The association failed with all objections in the course of the Corona restart.
Münster had unsuccessfully objected to four games. In addition, there were three administrative complaints against the fixtures and an objection to the continuation of the season. Due to official regulations, the club only got back into team training on May 26 – and thus later than many league competitors – and therefore complained of violations of the principles of fair play and equal opportunities.
Preussen Münster finished the season with 40 points in 18th place and has relegated to the regional league.
