Pies to name another debutant

COLLINGWOOD triggered a selection shock and named second-year striker Atu Bosenavulagi for his AFL debut against Hawthorn on Friday night.

Following the announcement of father-son key striker Will Kelly’s debut on Wednesday, the Pies will announce another debutant on Thursday evening.

The 180 cm small striker, who was ranked 77th in the NAB AFL Draft 2018, was picked up by the Pies’ Next Generation Academy and born in Fiji.

Bosenavulagi also has links to Joffa Corfe, the icon of Collingwood’s Cheer Squad, who is married to the 19-year-old’s grandmother’s sister.

The pies are also expected to recall Isaac Quaynor from the first round for his first game in 2020.
