Official! Adam Lallana Joins Brighton & Hove Albion

Adam Lallana officially joined Brighton & Hove Albion after leaving Liverpool. 32-year-old player under contract The Seagulls for three years.

Lallana’s contract with Liverpool has run out after the English League competition this season ends. The former Southampton player also said goodbye to Jordan Henderson et al before the Reds match against Newcastle United on Sunday (07/26/2020).

After that, Lallana was rumored to be soon to join Brighton. The news finally came true after The Seagulls announced Lallana joining his team, Tuesday (7/28) early morning hrs.

Brighton made the announcement of Lallana’s transfer through their official social media account. The Seagulls also displayed photos of the 2019/2020 English League gold medalist in a blue shirt numbered 14.

Lallana’s arrival in Brighton was welcomed positively by Graham Potter, manager of The Seagulls. He claimed the England international would add to the quality of his team, as well as being an example for young Brighton players.

“He has played at the highest level, both in clubs and countries, and achieved extraordinary things. He has a lot of experience in addition to technical quality,” Potter was quoted as saying on the official Brighton page.

“The award he won during playing at Liverpool, and the high award where he was held at Anfield, further emphasizes his abilities and character,” he continued.

“Adam is a player who excites us, someone I am sure his supporters will really look forward to watching the game when everything can start returning to normal,” he said.
