Anthony Seibold asked fans to “weather the bad times” after the Broncos collapsed into another blow, this time through the Melbourne storm.
The Broncos were unrecognizable in the first half as they remained in combat, but returned to old habits in the second 40, so the storm could stack up to six attempts.
The defeat comes just a few days after the pressurized coach has been told to win five of the remaining ten games to survive the ax. That makes the horror on Friday even more expensive.

When asked if he would buy a ticket for next week’s game as a fan, Seibold asked the fans to stand by the team and assure them that the players would improve.
“If you are a fan, you have to get through the bad times well and this is a bad time for us as a club,” he said.
“One thing I know, the group I have is getting better. I am optimistic that they will get better.
“If I’m a Broncos supporter, stay with these guys. It’s a challenge right now, they’re doing their best, sometimes people don’t think they are, but they’re working hard on training, they’re taking some big lessons on the field right now, so they just have to try to find one Way to support them. “
The club was attacked again this week after the Tigers hit 48-0 last week. Seibold accepted the criticism that was raised in the club, but said the difference between Friday night’s efforts and last week’s efforts was “chalk and cheese”.
“It was a really good first half, which is as good as since the resumption after COVID-19.
“If we can play the way we did for those 40 minutes over a longer period of time, we’ll give ourselves a chance.
“This week’s efforts over the past few weeks have been chalk and cheese. Any criticism that got in our way last week was well deserved.

“It’s a sport that people love passionately. I have a good perspective, it’s a challenge for the locker room right now, but we just have to stick together.”
He reiterated that the storm’s dominance in the second half was not good enough, but believes that inexperience could have played a hand.
“We are not happy in any way, either in any form or in any form,” he said.
“Some of these people are learning. It’s not an excuse, but we had 12 or 13 people playing NRL for us tonight.
“I just think that everything is happening for us at the moment. If something goes wrong, it really goes wrong. “
The Broncos may be 15th on the ladder, but Seibold remains confident that things will change and that they will do a miraculous run for the final.
“We won’t lose faith in the finals until we can’t. There is an old saying: where there is life there is hope as long as we are still breathing and we still have the chance to do our best. “
