At another point in history, Novak Djokovic had a court dedicated to him in the French city of Clichy. World No.1 previously had a statue erected in Belgrade and several murals throughout the city of Belgrade. So this is unique in France.
A non-profit organization called Etendart went with the project. Clichy has a Racine stadium where the court was dedicated. The courtyard was designed by Youssef Sy and Opera Graphiks.

The courtyard has beautiful works of art and color combinations. It also has a Djokovic graphic. It has blue and red colors and blends into sport and city life in court. The main goal here is to inspire new incoming athletes and find the next Novak Djokovic. Both artists responsible for the work have published their reactions on Instagram. They were very excited to be working with Etendart and were happy to be part of this project.

The field will be used to offer a tennis course for 150 students. And so the co-founder of Etendart, Olivier Mairot also talked about their agenda and their goals.
“We put our roots in the new court, but also in our office a few steps from here. With Etendart, we don’t want to limit ourselves to creating artistic fields, we want to create meaning with the young people of Clichy in the long run. ” Mairot said
