Nikola Jokic expected to join Disney’s Nuggets in the next two days

BUENA VISTA LAKE, Fla. – The Denver Nuggets predict that the All-Star center Nikola Jokic will arrive in Orlando from his native Serbia to join the team to restart the NBA in the next two days, according to Yahoo Sports.

Jokic tested positive for the COVID-19 test in June, but has since tested negative consecutively and is allowed to enter the Walt Disney World campus.

Earlier in the week, the 7-footer had complications with the trip and was unable to reach Denver with his teammates.

This is an important step for the organization after the initial shock of its franchise player who contracts the virus outside the United States.

Jokic is healthy, sources said.

Jokic, 25, averaged 20.2 points, along with 10.2 rebounds and 6.9 assists in 65 games for the Nuggets, who are +2200 on BetMGM to win the NBA title.
