However, this is not the case with all top giants. The new Premier League champions Liverpool are giving up their own switch for Werner and appear to be ready to study the market closely before taking any steps this summer.
The Reds have been associated with a move for Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara. Manchester United are also said to be interested in the former Barcelona player.
United are also keeping an eye on Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer targets both a central defender and a center forward to improve his Champions League squad.
Expect most teams to be looking for new faces. Arsenal is another club that will revise their squad before the new season.
