After complaints about food inside the NBA bubble in Orlando, Florida, the league is trying to provide players with more options.
According to Joe Vardon of The Athletic, the NBA flew in executive chef Shawn Loving to the Walt Disney World campus to consult on expanding the menu, even for those with dietary restrictions. Loving worked as a basketball chef for Team USA and for the Detroit Pistons.
This comes after numerous complaints from players, some of whom have posted photos of their food on social media:

“The food was very helpful to me by trying to cut some of them [pounds]. It suited that plan perfectly, so all right, all right, “joked Toronto Raptors head coach Nick Nurse, according to Vardon.
“I didn’t have a favorite [meal] yet, “said Tyson Chandler, who had a limited selection of food due to dietary restrictions.
Once each player finishes their initial quarantine, they will be able to order from nearby restaurants or hire a private chef.
