Mourinho’s Tottenham wants Saints’ Hojbjerg to replace Winks

Tottenham Hotspur and Everton are believed to be the top finishers for the Southampton midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

On Saturday, however, the Daily Mirror revealed that they believe Jose Mourinho has the upper hand in the two-horse race and that Southampton will want £ 25 million for the star. Spurs hope to use the right back Kyle Walker-Peters to secure Hojbjerg’s signature, although the south coast club has yet to confirm whether or not they want the Tottenham defender on a permanent basis.

Hojbjerg still has a 12-month contract, but told Southampton that he would not extend his contract.

Furthermore, the Mirror also believes that if Spurs is successful in his quest for Hojbjerg while Mourinho tries to refresh the midfield, they could be tents for Harry winks.

Winks joined and left the Spurs team under Mourinho and the 24-year-old could start between £ 25 million and £ 30 million while Daniel Levy tries to balance the books.

Gunners observe the exchange of Coutinho-Guendouzi

Philippe Coutinho could be traveling to Arsenal, Foot Mercato reveals, with demanding Barcelona Matteo Guendouzi move in the opposite direction.

The exchange deal could suit both sides, with Arsenal appearing to want to expand their attacking options for next season, and Barcelona a fan of Lorient Guendouzi’s ex-man.

Coutinho spent on loan at Bayern Munich last season and seems to have no future at Camp Nou. The Daily Star believes that Coutinho wants to return to the Premier League after spending five years in Liverpool.

Arsenal would like to add their striker skills to their team, and apparently would be happy to download Guendouzi, who has fallen in the beak order in recent months under Mikel Arteta.

The two clubs are believed to have entered into discussion, with an exchange agreement more favorable to the Gunners because of their finances.

Zenit will offer £ 9 million for Lovren

Zenit St. Petersburg wants to replace it Branislav Ivanovic with Liverpool Dejan Lovren, but the two clubs appear to disagree on the tax, reports the Daily Mail.
