Speaking on a Snapchat question and answer on Tuesday evening, Nuggets striker Michael Porter Jr. said he believed coronavirus is being used for a “larger program”.
Responding to a user who seemed to be asking Porter Jr. why he doesn’t “talk about what’s going on in the world,” the second year forward said that “Personally I think coronavirus is obviously used for a broader agenda. It is used to control of the population in terms of control of the masses of people, the whole world is controlled.
“You are asked to wear masks. And who knows what will happen when this vaccine comes out. You may need to have the vaccine to travel. It would be insane.”
Porter went on to say that “he has never been vaccinated in my life”.
“I’ve never had shots or anything like that,” he said. “He could go crazy. But he’s definitely behind everything that’s going on right now and all you could do is sit back and watch what’s going on. Don’t get too emotionally involved. But yes, it’s serious. It’s real. But yes, it is exaggerated. “
Porter Jr.’s comments show a similarity somewhat similar to that of the Lakers center Dwight Howard, who in a recent Instagram Live, seemed to answer a fan’s question about vaccinations.
“Do I believe in vaccinations?” Howard said. “No, I don’t know. This is my personal opinion, but no, I don’t know.”
Just before, he said, “I didn’t know that coronavirus flew through the air looking for people.”
Howard was walking on the Orlando campus without wearing a mask while answering his questions on Instagram.
“Personally I don’t see the risk we take it during the time we are here,” Howard said on the aforementioned IG Live.
Porter Jr. was choice no. 14 in the 2018 draft. He lost all last season due to an injury, but became an important reserve in the Denver register in 2019-2020.
He averaged 7.5 points and 4.1 rebounds per game in 14 minutes of action.
As of Tuesday evening, there have been over 16.6 million confirmed coronavirus cases worldwide, resulting in at least 650,000 deaths. There have been over 4.3 million confirmed cases in the United States.
