Cabrera (hamstring) will play second base and beat third against cardinals on Thursday, reports Matt Ehalt of The Record.
Cabrera was excluded from Wednesday’s race due to a sore back pain in his thigh, but appears to have no persistent effect as he returned to the top nine for the series finale in St. Louis. With 21 games, Cabrera hits .349 / .391 / .590 with four home runs and 12 RBI.
