Marcus Rashford continued his inspirational work with FareShare by joining the charity staff a few days after the end of the Premier League season.

The England striker, who a few days ago helped get Manchester United to shoot in next season’s Champions League, was a great inspiration during the block thanks to his charity work.

Rashford teamed up with the charity organization FareShare to raise £ 20 million for food donations during the coronavirus pandemic, while also helping to convince the government to extend their meal coupons program for children on free school meals during summer holidays.

And on Tuesday evening, Rashford posted a series of photos on Instagram that help him in a factory by uploading food with other FareShare colleagues.

The 22 year old wrote his post: “To the staff, the volunteers and all those who continue to work behind the scenes to make a difference THANK YOU!

‘The world needs more people like you. We continue, the fight is far from over. ‘

Rashford will receive an honorary doctorate from the University of Manchester this summer for his campaign against child poverty.

The attacker will become the youngest recipient in the history of the university thanks to his incredible charity work recently.

After hearing the acknowledgment, Rashford said, “It is a proud day for me and my family.

“We still have a long way to go in the fight to fight child poverty in this country, but getting recognition from your city means we’re going in the right direction and that means a lot.”

The university said it wanted to mark Rashford’s “extraordinary campaign against child poverty” and its sporting achievements.

Professor Nancy Nancy Rothwell, president and vice chancellor of the university, said: ‘Marcus is an extraordinary young man with extraordinary talent and guidance that extends far beyond the football field.

‘His charity work and high profile campaign will not only help countless young people across our city, but across the country.

‘Our University has social responsibility within it and this sense of civic pride and duty is something we are proud to share with Marcus.

“This is why the university is happy to make Marcus our youngest ever received an honorary degree.”
