Inter remain excited to keep Alexis Sanchez for a longer stay from Manchester United, with negotiations between the two clubs underway.
The CEO of the Italian club Giuseppe Marotta has provided an update on Inter’s search to extend the Sanchez agreement, which is expected to expire on 7 August.
This would mean that Sanchez is unable to complete this season’s Europa League with Inter. United is seeking to release the Chilean forward with a permanent deal rather than allowing him to extend his loan for another month or so.
Marotta spoke with Sky Sport Italia on Sanchez’s negotiations, confirming that Inter want to keep the 31-year-old.
“It’s not easy, he has a two-year contract with Manchester United, so we have to evaluate the situation,” he said.
Meanwhile, reports suggest that Jadon Sancho will not force an exit from Borussia Dortmund this summer.
