Manchester United fans believe that Paul Pogba is more than happy in the club and may decide to sign a new contract after Nemanja Matic released a video of the Frenchman pretending to be a taxi driver in their Carrington training complex.
Pogba has revealed his desire to leave the club last summer in search of a new challenge, but despite the links with both Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, a transfer has failed to materialize.
The midfielder lost most of the season due to an injury but returned to play an important role in United’s run – starting six of United’s eight games since the return of the Premier League.
His long-term future in the club remains unclear with his contract expiring next year, although United has the option to extend it for another season.
Various reports claim that Pogba’s stance on his stay at United has changed and he is open to signing a new contract at Old Trafford.
On Friday, Matic posted a video on his Instagram page showing Pogba driving a golf cart and acting as a taxi driver.
United fans believe that the team’s atmosphere is at an all-time high and believe that Pogba is happier than ever before.
After the victory against Aston Villa, Pogba was asked if his future was in United.
The midfielder stated that his whole goal was to help the club achieve success in the FA Cup and the Europa League.
“Right now, I have been injured for a long time, I have focused on myself to return and help the team as much as possible. We have two goals, to go to the Europa League and the FA Cup, we focus on that,” he said Sky Sports.
